1. Acceptance of these Terms
In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Mavis, LLC, the owner and operator of this website and the services available through it (the “Service”). “You” means the person using it.
Your right to use the Service is personal to you and is not transferable to any other person or entity. We may modify these Terms as described in Section 15.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 to use the Service, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a subscription. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization to these Terms.
Some features require an account. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, and for keeping your credentials confidential. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Individual subscriptions
A subscription is individual. Do not share your password or let others use your account in place of their own. We may limit each subscriber to a reasonable number of devices or simultaneous sessions, and we may suspend accounts that appear to be shared.
Free trial
Eligible new users may start one 7-day free trial of Blueprint Unlimited. A payment method is required to start the trial. You are not charged during the 7 days. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged and Unlimited access continues through the trial end date. If you do not cancel, the monthly or yearly price you chose is charged when the trial ends and then renews automatically. Trials are limited to one per person, household, and payment method. Creating additional accounts or using temporary email addresses to obtain extra trials is not permitted, and we may end those trials without charge.
Recurring payment
Subscriptions recur monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the start of each paid billing period, without the card or cardholder present, until you cancel. Payments are handled by our third-party payment processor; we never receive your full card number.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time through billing management. Cancelling stops future recurring charges. Unless stated otherwise at purchase or required by law, you keep access to paid features through the end of the period you already paid for.
Price and plan changes
We may change pricing and the features included in a plan. Price changes apply to billing periods beginning after we notify you, so you can always cancel before a new price takes effect.
4. Intellectual property
The Service and its contents are owned by Mavis, LLC or its licensors. All rights reserved. This includes the software, APIs, database and pipeline design, proprietary algorithms and models, derived metrics and formulas, interface and visual design, graphics, logos, and written content.
Our names, logos, and marks identify us and our services and may not be used without our prior written permission.
We do not claim ownership of underlying factual sports data that we do not own. Game results, box scores, play-by-play events, rosters, and similar facts remain subject to whatever rights apply to them. What is protected is our software, presentation, calculations, transformations, and models built on top of those facts.
5. Permitted use and restrictions
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose.
What you may not do
- Copy substantial portions of subscriber-only content, or redistribute or commercially exploit content without our written permission.
- Modify, publish, transmit, sell, or create derivative works from the Service or its content.
- Store our content in another website or electronic retrieval system.
- Use scripts, bots, scrapers, data miners, or other automated means to access the Service in a way that degrades performance or access for others, without our written permission.
- Use our content, statistics, or data to build a database, archive, or data store that competes with or materially substitutes for the Service.
- Use our content or data to provide a service that competes with or materially substitutes for the Service.
- Bypass authentication, paywalls, entitlement checks, rate limits, or other access controls.
- Reverse engineer the Service, or attempt to reconstruct source code, model weights, or proprietary methodology, except where law expressly permits it.
6. Submissions and feedback
If you submit anything to us, including messages you email us or any content we invite you to contribute, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and create derivative works from it, and to incorporate it into other works in any medium. This includes suggestions and feedback, which we may use to improve the Service without obligation or compensation to you. You are never required to submit anything.
7. Data accuracy and predictions
- Data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, including because of errors in upstream sources.
- Derived metrics depend on methodology choices and may not be comparable to similarly named metrics elsewhere.
- Predictions are probabilistic estimates, not statements of fact. Predicted winners, predicted scores, and win probabilities will sometimes be wrong.
- Past model performance does not guarantee future performance, and outputs change as data and models are updated.
- AI-generated narratives may contain inaccuracies.
Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, betting, legal, or other professional advice. We are not a sportsbook or handicapping service. You are solely responsible for any decision you make based on the Service, and you should independently verify anything that matters to you.
The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCAA, any conference, or any institution or team referenced in it.
8. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to third-party websites as a convenience. We do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content or for your use of it.
The Service also depends on third-party providers for authentication, payments, hosting, data infrastructure, and certain AI features. Those providers operate under their own terms and policies.
9. Privacy and legal process
We collect account and payment information needed to operate the Service, usage and device information such as logs and cookies that keep you signed in, and messages you send us. We use that information to provide and improve the Service, process subscriptions, and communicate with you. We share it with service providers who help us run the Service, and we may disclose it where required by law.
We may preserve and disclose information where we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, a subpoena, or legal process; to enforce these Terms; to respond to claims that activity violates a third party's rights; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or us. You authorize us to release information about you where required by law or subpoena.
To report claimed copyright infringement, write to contact@mavis-tech.com with a description of the work, the material at issue, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if your use creates a security, legal, or operational risk, or if we are required to by law. Where circumstances reasonably allow, we will try to warn you first. For serious issues such as attacks on our infrastructure, fraud, or unlawful activity, we may act immediately. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. Sections that should survive termination by their nature will survive, including Sections 4, 7, and 11 through 14.
11. Indemnification
You will indemnify Mavis, LLC and its agents, affiliates, and employees against any liability, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from a third-party claim arising out of your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, or alleging that content you submitted infringes or violates another party's rights or is unlawful.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind. We do not represent or warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, free of defects, inaccuracies, or errors, that it will meet your requirements, or that it will work with your particular hardware or software configuration. Other than the warranties expressly made in these Terms, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
We will not be liable to you or any third party for consequential, incidental, indirect, punitive, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or losses arising from wagering or financial decisions made in reliance on the Service, on any theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Force majeure
We will not be liable for failing to perform under these Terms because of any event beyond our reasonable control, including labor disturbances, internet or communications outages, failure of a service provider to perform, fire, terrorism, natural disaster, or war.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date and version shown at the top of this page, and we will make reasonable efforts to give additional notice if a change is material. Continuing to use the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
16. General terms
If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest of these Terms will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on that subject.
